Founded in 2005, Young Professional Resources (YPR) proudly enters its
fifth year of demonstrating its ability to provide the highest quality of
professional services to its clients. Founded by Leonard D. Young, P.E , the
company provides independent management, planning and engineering  
services to   individuals, public entities and private sector clients who are
dealing with today’s complex  infrastructure and management issues.

Mr. Young has over 27 years of public sector experience where he held
numerous key executive level positions. He led many award winning
projects and programs during his career. His diverse experience and
“hands on” leadership style has been a benefit to his clients in identifying
solutions, implementing programs, reducing costs, changing organizational
cultures and improving the opportunity for long range strategic success.

The relationship enjoyed between YPR and its clients is one of absolute
trust and confidence. YPR’s goal is not to be recognized  as “just” a
consultant but rather to be recognized as an important and beneficial
extension of the decision making process. We understand the demands
being placed on our  clients and we will meet our clients’ most pressing
needs. Our clients have been more than satisfied with our performance and
many have selected us to perform multiple projects.

YPR recognizes that a client has choices when they are selecting a
consultant, however we feel that we offer unique advantages and benefits.

Staffing: Young Professional Resources has a total of five (5) full time
professionals and three (3) part-time professionals. The positions are as
follows:

Two (2) full time Licensed Professional Engineers, one (1) full time
Administrative Assistant,  one (1) full time Design Technician, one (1) full
time Engineer-In-Training, one (1) part-time Licensed Professional Engineer,
one (1) part time Permitting and Compliance Specialist and one (1) part time
Construction Observation Specialist.

Software:
•        YPR utilizes the full Microsoft Office Suite for its administration and
management needs.

•        YPR utilizes two of the most utilized and proven software packages for
design and mapping.

  • The Autodesk products include: AutoDesk Civil 3D 2007, Raster
    Design 2007, Land Development Desktop 2007, Survey 2007 and Map
    3D 2007.

  • Bentley Microstation products include: 2008 Microstation V8i and 2007
    GeoPak Site

  • Projects are tracked utilizing Microsoft Project software.

Hardware:

The office has four (4) new computer workstations and two Hewett Packard
plotters to support design and planning activities.
